Grandmother Elaine's Unstuffed Sweet and Sour Cabbage

Stage 1
Spot the vegetable oil into an enormous pot over medium warmth. Mix in the cut onions, and cook until straightforward, around 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and pureed tomatoes, utilizing a spoon to somewhat cleave the entire tomatoes. Season with 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cover, and stew for 20 minutes, mixing once in a while. Mix the cabbage into the tomatoes. Cover, and stew 1 hour until the cabbage is delicate and blends effectively with the tomatoes.

Stage 2

Add the earthy colored sugar, a little at a time, tasting after every option. Cook combination over medium warmth 15 minutes more.
